The intention behind this project is to create a reliable device for the elderly, with a considerate caring heart. This product’s target user is the elderly population over 65 years old who need to take medication on a daily base. It is a combination of a timer and dispenser, and will be a portable component worn on the user’s body, thus removing the stigma of a strictly medical device, by functioning more like an accessory. Taking into account the physical limitations of the elderly, like deteriorating sight and hearing, the product will use vibration to alert the user.
